Legoland New York Resort reopening in April, with six new reasons to visit in 2022
Legoland New York Resort in Goshen, N.Y., has set a 2022 season-opening date of April 8. With the reopening comes new attractions including a water playground and new holiday celebrations.

There's also updated pricing with multi-day vacation packages priced from $179.99 per person if you book by the end of February, including park tickets and a stay at the 250-room Legoland Hotel. Individual park tickets for 2022 start at $67.99 for adults; annual passes are priced from $229 per person.
Here are six reasons you might want to plan a visit this year.
There's a new water playground

Officials are teasing a new water playground in the park's Lego City area as "the ultimate oasis to cool off after a long day under the hot sun." The playground will have a water slide and giant water bucket, as well as offering the opportunity to build and race a Lego boat. The attraction will open in the summer.

You'll be able to catch new shows

Two new stages in Lego City and Lego Pirates will premiere new shows including: "Academy of Arrrrr," "Detective Trace" and "Earth Beat!"
Fireworks are being added for the first time
A new annual Fourth of July event, "Red, White & Boom," will feature fireworks — a first for the park.
A new movie debuts for Halloween
Running weekends in October, the resort's Brick-or-Treat Halloween celebration will return this year and include the debut of a new 4D movie.
There's a new Christmas celebration
Legoland New York is adding a new Christmas Bricktacular to its holiday lineup, with seasonal activities from mid-November through December including the opportunity to meet LEGO Santa.

It will be easier to get around and find food

To make it easier to go between the various attractions, the park has created new paths and stairways connecting Miniland with Lego Ninjago, Lego Castle and Lego City. There's also a new food and beverage location in the hub.
