To get started, head to this website to register before booking a stay and enter your World of Hyatt number. Then, book your stays; after completing a certain number of eligible nights, you can earn the following:
| Completed nights | Bonus Points | Total Bonus Points |
|---|---|---|
| 3 | 3,000 | 3,000 |
| 5 | +5,000 | 8,000 |
| 8 | +8,000 | 16,000 |
So, if you stay three nights, you get 3,000 World of Hyatt Bonus points as a baseline. But by staying two more nights, you'll net an additional 5,000 bonus points, for a total of 8,000 — and if you bump that up further to eight nights, that grand total jumps to 16,000 bonus points, which is pretty lucrative for World of Hyatt.
For World of Hyatt members, award bookings start as low as 3,500 points for an off-peak night at a Category 1 hotel. At a Category 4 hotel, standard award nights start at 15,000 points. The fact that World of Hyatt still uses an awards chart is part of the reason the loyalty program is considered the most award-friendly.
If you need a little help deciding where to go, there are some fantastic participating hotels in major vacation spots around the country.
In Southern California, the Hyatt Place San Diego/Vista-Carlsbad is just a 15-minute drive from Legoland, and a great home base for everything the San Diego area has to offer. In Orlando, the Hyatt House Across from Universal Orlando (yes, that's its actual name) has bunkbed rooms for families looking to enjoy the thrills of Universal Studios (and the incredible new Epic Universe). And right outside Arches National Park, the Hyatt Place Moab has long been a TPG favorite.
Bottom line
Whether you're looking to plan a summer vacation or or you're a road warrior heading out on the job, registering for this Hyatt promotion could help you score some easy points. Even if you don't have plans, just register! Who knows when you might need to book a last-minute stay at one of these brands.
