Hyatt members can earn 3x points with this new vacation rental promotion
Hotels are usually the ideal accommodation choice for many vacations, but sometimes you just need more space, or the conveniences of a home for the best experience while away. Luckily, booking home rentals for a vacation is becoming easier than ever — and you can even use points to book the stay.
One way to book vacation rentals is through Hyatt's Homes & Hideaways collection, a group of short-term rentals around the world.
Now through July 6, World of Hyatt members can earn triple points on private homes, villas and condos. Members already earn 5 base points per $1 spent, plus elite tier bonuses, so this promotion could be a great way to build up a nice stash of points. It's even better when you remember that World of Hyatt is widely considered the most award-friendly hotel program around.
World of Hyatt members do not have to register for the promotion. Simply book an eligible stay between March 19, 2025, and July 6, 2025.
Homes & Hideaways functions like many of the vacation home rental services you've seen online before. The benefit to booking through Hyatt, though, is the chance to earn points and elite night credits along the way.
Homes range from multibedroom cabins near the Great Smoky Mountains, where you can spend a week hiking, exploring kitschy tourist attractions and riding truly wild rollercoasters at Dollywood, Dolly Parton's theme park celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, to condos in Hawaii, beach houses in Florida and everything in between.
