How to Navigate Amazon's '12 Days of Deals' for the Best Travel Items

If you haven't completely depleted your bank account from last week's Black Friday and Cyber Monday hype -- we have some good news for you. Amazon has just launched its '12 Days of Deals' promotion, offering discounts on a wide array of products that you can either gift to friends, family or yourself.

Shoppers can expect Amazon to post its new daily deals live at 12am (PST) each day until the promotion ends on Dec. 13. Deals will be changing every 24 hours, covering the following themes in this order:

Dec. 2: Home improvement

Dec. 3: Video games

Dec. 4: Toys

Dec. 5: PC

Dec. 6: Home (bedding/bath/décor)

Dec. 7: Fashion

Dec. 8: Baby, pets, camera

Dec. 9: Beauty and personal care

To shop these deals, all you have to do is visit the Amazon website's landing page for the promotion. Also, when shopping on Amazon, make sure you're using the best-suited credit card to maximize your purchases. For today, Dec. 4, we're taking a look at toy deals that could help liven up your travels (and give you a break from the little ones for a moment or two.) There’s a lot to love about the Amex Gold. It’s a fan favorite thanks to its fantastic bonus-earning rates at restaurants worldwide and at U.S. supermarkets. If you’re hitting the skies soon, you’ll also earn bonus Membership Rewards points on travel. Paired with up to $120 in Uber Cash annually (for U.S. Uber rides or Uber Eats orders, card must be added to Uber app and you can redeem with any Amex card), up to $120 in annual dining statement credits to be used with eligible partners, an up to $84 Dunkin’ credit each year at U.S. Dunkin Donuts and an up to $100 Resy credit annually, there’s no reason that foodies shouldn’t add the Amex Gold to their wallet.
