If you're making travel plans for the coming months, you may have noticed escalating hotel prices. Don't be dissuaded from traveling because of this sticker shock, though. We have some good news in the world of accommodations today, especially if you're looking to travel overseas.

Hilton is offering up to 25% off stays at participating hotels across its portfolio in Europe, the United Kingdom and Ireland, the Middle East and Africa.

This deal spotlights some of our favorite urban destinations in the world, including London, Rome, Paris, Dubai and Istanbul, plus glorious natural spots in Africa, such as Seychelles.

Whether you're looking for an affordable room in Europe for late summer or fall or planning adventure trips to the Middle East or Africa, now is a great time to book.

With this deal, you can check out properties such as the posh Biltmore Mayfair, LXR Hotels & Resorts in London or the seaside Hilton Tel Aviv in Israel for a quarter off — substantial savings for these ideally located properties. Plus, there are many more options included in this promotion.

Note that for this sale, you'll want to be a Hilton Honors member to get the best value, as members receive an additional 5% discount to get a total savings of 25%.

For nonmembers, you'll receive up to 20% off at participating Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, LXR Hotels & Resorts, DoubleTree by Hilton, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Curio Collection by Hilton and Canopy by Hilton properties. Discounts are applied to Best Available and Best Available Bed and Breakfast rates for weekend stays.

At participating Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton by Hilton properties, you'll receive a 15% discount off the Best Available and Best Available Bed and Breakfast rates for weekend stays. Hilton Honors members will get an additional 5% off for a total savings of 20%.

Deal basics

Where: Europe, the Middle East (with some exceptions), the United Kingdom and Ireland hotels.

What: Savings of up to 20% off Hilton properties, plus an additional 5% off for Hilton Honors members, for a total savings of up to 25%.

When to book: June 29 to Sept. 12 for Hilton Honors members who book direct and July 7 to Sept. 12 for all other bookings.

When to stay: July 27 to Sept. 12, 2022.

The fine print: You must book at least one day before arrival; rates are nonrefundable.

Earn Hilton Points

You'll want to sign up for a Hilton Honors membership to get the maximum savings for this deal. Once you've created an account, you'll also accrue points for future stays, so it's a win-win.

With no foreign transaction fees, the card is also great for international travel. However, points earned from this card can only be used at a fixed value, so it may not be the best option for those striving to get maximum value from their rewards.

Cons
