Watch an Eithad A380 Fly With the UAE Aerobatics Team
In this epic installment of crazy aviation videos, we see Etihad's gigantic A380 (where The Points Guy enjoyed flying in 'The Residence') team up with the United Arab Emirates National Aerobatics team (known as Al Fursan) to perform its signature flyby at the 2016 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix that was held last week.
The video starts with the A380 taking off from Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) then cuts to Al Fursan's fleet of fighter jets ascending from Al Bateen Airport (AZI) in Abu Dhabi. The aircraft then meet up over the racetrack and perform a spectacular maneuver. The fighter jets, flying slightly behind and under the huge A380, show off their agility with several rolls and turns, all while painting the sky with an array of colors that seem to resemble the hues of the UAE's flag, where Etihad is based. This spectacle is surely one you don't want to miss!
