You Can Now Check In and Out of Standard Hotels at Any Time

Don't enjoy rushing out of your hotel room at 10:00am? Consider staying at a Standard Hotel on your next trip to Los Angeles, Miami or New York. The small hotel chain recently rolled out a new feature called Standard Time, allowing guests to check in and check out at any time, depending on availability.
In order to book a room with this perk, choose the room type you'd like and a Standard Time rate will display if the option is available for your desired date(s). After the booking process, the hotel will send you an email with estimated check-in and check-out times.
Keep in mind that you'll be charged an additional fee on top of the room rate in order to take advantage of this new feature. For example, a Standard King room at The Standard High Line, NYC runs from about $351 per night, but booking with Standard Time increases the rate to from $409 per night. The difference in rate also depends on the property you're staying in and the dates that you choose.
If you're not staying at any of the Standard Hotels, you can also score early check-in and late check-out times by having elite status with most major hotel chains. Additionally, if you book hotels through the American Express Fine Hotels and Resorts program that is available for Amex Platinum cardholders, you're entitled to noon check-in (depending on availability) and a guaranteed 4:00pm check-out.
