Chase delivers new Instacart benefits on several of its cards
If you're like me and use online grocery delivery frequently, you'll want to take note: Starting today, eligible Chase cardholders will receive bonus Instacart benefits through Dec. 31, 2027.
These new benefits will help some cardholders gain even more value to offset their cards' annual fees. That said, it's important to understand these new perks to determine whether they fit your lifestyle and spending habits.
Let's dig into what Chase and Instacart are delivering.
New Instacart benefits
If you hold one of the following cards, you're now eligible for a complimentary three-month Instacart+ membership and a $10 monthly statement credit for Instacart purchases:

The information for the Marriott Bonvoy Bountiful, the Southwest Premier, the Aer Lingus Visa Signature and the Iberia Visa Signature has been collected independently by The Points Guy. The card details on this page have not been reviewed or provided by the card issuer.
If you hold either the Ink Business Cash® Credit Card (see rates and fees) or the Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card (see rates and fees), you'll receive a complimentary three-month Instacart+ membership and a monthly $20 credit toward Instacart purchases.

To receive your benefits, you must sign up for Instacart and enroll your eligible card. Note that you will need an active Instacart+ membership to receive your monthly statement credit. These perks expire Dec. 31, 2027.
This new update covers almost all of Chase's cards, meaning that almost every Chase cardholder should be eligible for some level of Instacart perks.
If you're wondering why Chase's lineup of United cards isn't included on this list, it's because those cards already received Instacart benefits when they were refreshed earlier this year.
My take on these benefits
As someone who often uses online delivery services, I'm always happy when cards add new perks that help me save money on my orders. That said, these new Instacart benefits aren't as easy to use as some of the other perks on these cards, like hotel reward nights and free checked bags.
If you don't naturally use Instacart at least once or twice per month, you're going to have a hard time maximizing these benefits. But if you're already an Instacart fan or you're willing to move some of your online orders to this service, these are great benefits to have.

Depending on the card you have, you'll receive either $120 or $240 each year in statement credits (through Dec. 31, 2027). That's a huge amount toward offsetting your card's annual fee, if it has one.
Since you'll only receive your monthly statement credits if you have an active Instacart+ membership, these benefits are definitely geared toward committed Instacart fans.
Overall, I think these new benefits are generally positive and will provide solid value to the right cardholders. Of course, it would be great to have statement credits that can be used toward any online grocery delivery service, but the current trend for issuers is to partner with specific brands.
Bottom line
If you have one of the Chase cards mentioned above or are considering one of them, take note of these new Instacart perks. They may help you gain significantly more value from your card every year.
Remember that these benefits last until Dec. 31, 2027. Until then, you'll want to keep track of your purchases each month so you don't miss out on any monthly credits.
