Breeze adds 3 cities, 13 new routes in 2025 expansion
Breeze Airways will ramp up its flying in a big way this spring and summer. The Utah-based low-cost carrier on Wednesday announced plans to launch service from three new airports by midyear.
And the airline will add more than a dozen new routes to its fast-growing network.
The expansion will begin in May, when Breeze will launch its first-ever flights from Memphis International Airport (MEM) in Tennessee and Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport (ROC) in western New York.

Then, several weeks later, the carrier will add a duo of nonstop flights from Albany International Airport (ALB) in New York.
But it's not just new pins on the map for the airline, which launched service in 2021. Breeze will bolster its flying up and down the East Coast, with particular growth planned at a handful of Southeastern airports stretching from the Carolinas to Florida.
The biggest winner in Wednesday's announcement: North Carolina's Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU), which will see Breeze launch five new routes between late April and early June — including new nonstop flights to New York state, the Florida Panhandle and Orlando.

Here's what Breeze's route map will look like from its Research Triangle crew base by June. That's after the airline grew its total seats by nearly 120% at RDU in 2024 versus 2023.

As part of this network expansion, the South Carolina cities of Charleston and Greenville will get a combined six new routes.

Major growth planned in 2025
As shown above, many of Breeze's new routes include popular summer beach destinations in the Southeast, along with flights to and from the Northeast, where Breeze has staked much of its growth.
"We see great demand and opportunity for our premium product offering in secondary markets across the country," Breeze CEO David Neeleman said in a statement announcing the new routes.
This network expansion comes a week after the airline announced it recently completed its first profitable quarter of flying in late 2024.
Meanwhile, the airline hopes to get the green light by spring for its first international service, Neeleman recently told me. The carrier will likely start its cross-border foray with short-haul flights to vacation spots in Mexico or the Caribbean.
Also revealed Wednesday: The carrier plans to bring back its summer seasonal route between Ohio's Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
