Away's new holiday collection will make your travels merry and bright

Away's limited-edition holiday collection is available beginning Thursday. It comes in a metallic two-toned hue called Holiday Chrome, which is a warm cranberry on one side and a cool rose gold on the other.
Some of Away's most popular luggage designs are available in Holiday Chrome, including the Bigger Carry-On ($315) and the Medium ($365) suitcases. The exterior has a high-shine finish that's so sparkly and bright it's sure to boost your holiday spirit.
When you are putting major miles on your suitcases, they likely won't stay looking fresh out of the box forever. Away recommends cleaning the bag's exterior shell using a soft, damp cloth, warm water and mild soap after use.
You can add extra storage and style to your luggage with holiday collection accessories, including the Insider Packing Cubes ($55) in Holiday Chrome; the Luggage Tag and Charm Duo ($30) in Glitz, a metallic silver, and Glam, a rose gold; and the Circle Zip Pouch ($40) in Glitz.

Based on TPG's tests, Away's hard-shell luggage generally performs just as well as it looks. The Away bags come with interior compression systems, 360-degree wheels, luggage tags and combination locks. You can also add an ejectable USB charger for an additional fee. However, you must remove the charger before flying, so you might want to save the cash and go without that option.
