LE ROYAL MONCEAU — RAFFLES PARIS

Set in the swanky 8th Arrondissement, Le Royal Monceau — Raffles Paris offers impeccable elegance and immaculate service, and its Michelin-starred Italian restaurant, Il Carpaccio, is no exception. The restaurant’s mission statement of “complexity presented in simplicity” comes to life through a gastronomic immersion into Italian cuisine with signature dishes such as beef carpaccio with Caesar sauce, crispy amaranth and black truffle or the famous Da Vittorio-style paccheri. Can’t get in for dinner or want to save some money? The two-course lunch (starter and main course) is generous, served on beautiful copper plates and changes weekly. Best of all, it’s only 70 euros ($76).

Consider ordering the juicy crab with onions crusted with breadcrumbs, tender Japanese wagyu beef with spring onion and wasabi or the fresh lobster paired with three varieties of onions.

As the only restaurant in Las Vegas to achieve three Michelin stars, MGM Grand’s Joel Robuchon is the pinnacle of fine dining in Sin City — in fact, chef Robuchon also happens to have the most Michelin-starred restaurants in the world. After guests enter his "mansion” (which was designed to resemble a luxurious art deco townhouse complete with marble floors and plush purple furniture), they can splurge on a tasting menu that features countless delicacies, such as Le Foie Gras, a carpaccio of foie gras and potatoes, adorned with white truffle shavings. The experience features four incredible tableside offerings, including a bread cart, cheese cart, tea cart and mignardises trolley. This property is bookable via Amex Fine Hotels + Resorts.

Drawing inspiration from his roots on the nearby island of Ischia, executive chef Andrea Migliaccio serves traditional Mediterranean flavors with such standout dishes as lemon tagliolini with red prawns and smoked blue lobster. The restaurant is festooned with coastal chic decor and regularly schedules live piano performances, and the terrace has oceanfront views you won’t soon forget.
