Save $10 on a $40 purchase at Walmart (twice): Targeted Amex Offer

When we talk about our favorite creative ways to save money during the holidays, Amex Offers always make the list. Now, Amex is spreading cheer with a targeted Walmart offer.
If you have the offer, you can receive a $10 statement credit when you spend at least $40 on the Walmart website. Even better, you can take advantage of this offer two times to receive a total of $20 in statement credits. This offer is valid through Jan. 12, 2023.
Log in to your American Express account and view your offers. If you see this Walmart offer listed, add it to your card. Then, use that card to make your Walmart purchase of $40 or more to receive the $10 statement credit (up to two times).
Note that this offer is only valid for online Walmart purchases; it does include Walmart pickup and delivery purchases made online and purchases made through the Walmart app. This offer does not include Walmart+ memberships, purchases from third-party or affiliate websites linked with/from Walmart, bulk gift cards and e-gift cards, in-store purchases, layaway purchases, insurance services, auto services, pharmacy transactions, protection plans and recurring subscription services.
Make sure you're maximizing your rewards by also logging in to your favorite shopping portal before making your online Walmart purchase. We love to use Rakuten to earn even more American Express Membership Rewards points on our purchases.
Even if you don't have this offer, you can still use your Chase Freedom Flex® card to earn 5% back on Walmart purchases through Dec. 31, provided you have activated the card's 2022 Q4 categories. Also, of course, continue to use your favorite online shopping portal for all your online purchases.
