Great points deals on Virgin Voyages cruises for as little as 115,000 points

Virgin Voyages is currently running some great points deals on Caribbean, Mediterranean and transatlantic cruises, but you’ll want to act fast.

Virgin Red is offering heavily discounted Virgin point redemptions for adults-only cruises lasting anywhere from five to 14 nights; they range from 115,000 to 280,000 points per sailing for two people.

Along with a cabin, the redemptions include meals, soft drinks, fitness classes, entertainment and tips during the trip. The only catch is that the qualifying Mediterranean itineraries will depart on either May 12 or 19. This doesn't give you much time to plan.

Here’s a roundup of the deals currently available. Do note that for all redemptions, taxes and fees will also apply.

7-night Mediterranean cruises for 120,000 to 160,000 points

If you can board either May 12 or 19, you can depart from Athens, Greece, on Resilient Lady or Barcelona on Scarlet Lady to enjoy one of two Mediterranean itinerary packages. Book these sailings for 120,000 points here.

If that’s a little too soon, you can also sail the same itineraries beyond those dates for 160,000 points; discounted itineraries from Athens depart until July 28, while discounted Barcelona sailings depart until Oct. 31. You can book these itineraries here.

Your points redemption will cover one cabin, which sleeps two people. Taxes and fees apply to any booking.

5-night Caribbean cruises for 115,000 points

If you desire more flexibility, Virgin is also offering reduced redemptions on Caribbean itineraries from June through September. These start and end in Miami with a full-day stop at a private beach club in Bimini, Bahamas, for 115,000 points. Book this deal here.

Redeeming points for one of these itineraries will cover one cabin, which sleeps two people. Keep in mind that taxes and fees apply.

14- to 16-night transatlantic cruises for 280,000 to 320,000 points

For those who want a little more time at sea and are willing to travel a little farther, Virgin is also offering a 14-night itinerary departing Barcelona for 280,000 points. It includes full-day stops in Casablanca, Morocco, and at the Spanish islands of Gran Canaria and Tenerife. The sailing departs Oct. 27. You can book the 14-night Barcelona itinerary here.

Finally, you can snag a 16-night cruise from Civitavecchia, Italy (a port town near Rome) to Miami on Virgin Voyages’ Scarlet Lady for 320,000 points. This option departs Nov. 28. Book the 16-night Rome itinerary here.

Bottom line

Virgin Voyages is currently running some great redemption deals on various cruise itineraries. Since qualifying dates and itineraries are limited, aim to book sooner rather than later to take advantage of this deal.
