Another blockbuster Delta promotion where you can rack up a bunch of MQMs, which count towards elite status, and donate to some great charities while doing so. You can also write off these donations, because the actual value of the MQMs is zero. Delta MQMs roll over, so even if you've already achieved elite status, these MQMs will roll over and count towards your 2012 qualification.

Donate at least $250 between December 1 and December 15, 2010, to one or more of the organizations listed below and you'll receive Medallion® Qualification Miles (MQMs) in your 2010 balance that will apply toward your 2011 Medallion status. Contribute to each charity and earn:
2,500 MQMs for a donation between $250 and $499
5,000 MQMs for a donation of $500 or more
15,000 MQMs if you donate $500 or more to each of the three charities. No enrollment is required, but be sure to enter your SkyMiles number when you submit your donation via the charity's website.
