By booking with one of these cards, travelers will receive a free checked bag and earn 2 miles for every dollar spent. United MileagePlus members can also earn bonus award miles and credited flight miles on their trip.

If you don't have a United credit card, don't fret: You can also score great benefits when you book with a rewards credit card that earns bonus points on travel purchases. Cards to consider include the Chase Sapphire Reserve® (4 points per dollar spent on flights booked direct; see rates and fees), the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card (for 2 points per dollar spent on travel; see rates and fees) and The Platinum Card® from American Express (for 5 points per dollar spent on airfare when booked directly with the airline or through American Express Travel® on up to $500,000 of these purchases per calendar, then 1 point per dollar).

Bottom line

The prices on this deal vary widely from city to city, but the sale offers some well-priced vacations in popular destinations like Playa del Carmen and Las Vegas. It’s easy to search for a great hotel and flight combo, and everything from the room type to the flight times is customizable, ensuring travelers get exactly the getaway they want at the right price.

Be sure to book these vacation packages by May 30 to take advantage of the best deals — you could get a multiday getaway for as little as $200 per person.
