In a week full of airline deals, TAP Air Portugal is offering travelers a New Year's sale, with round-trip economy flights from major U.S. cities to Europe for less than $500.
Flights are available to Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, Copenhagen, London and Dublin, among other international destinations, from domestic cities like Boston, New York City, Miami and Chicago.

Bottom line
Like the British Airways sale running this month, this sale offers travelers discounted flights through Jan. 19. However, the cheapest fares will likely disappear before then, so act fast if you wish to partake.
