Paris is always a good idea, as they say. That's especially true now, as a large majority of round-trip fares for the City of Light are currently between $400 and $500 depending on the route.

Flights are available for travel for much of the year through November.

This flight and the other sale flights are for the most restrictive class, likely called basic economy. Most basic economy fare types are nonrefundable and unchangeable, requiring you to pay for seat selection. Depending on the airline, you might be afforded a carry-on item, as is the case with Air Canada.

Based on a search conducted for this story, the cheapest fares for the majority of these routes are flying TAP Air Portugal's discount economy fare, which is nonrefundable but can be changed for a $286 fee. These fares also include one personal item and one carry-on item, in addition to one meal.
