Norse launches Los Angeles service to Paris with one-way fares starting at $238

Adding to its international fleet, low-cost airline Norse Atlantic Airways debuted its latest long-haul flight Thursday, with four flights per week from Los Angeles to Paris.
One-way economy fares start at $238, with discounted round-trip fares available for $400.

There will be four flights from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) weekly on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Flights depart LA at 9:10 p.m. and arrive in Paris at 5 p.m. the following day; flights depart Paris at 4:15 p.m. and arrive in LA at 7:05 p.m. the same day.

Based on a test search we conducted for this story, you can book a round-trip flight as early as next month starting at $406; you can score the aforementioned $238 one-way fare and a discounted sale fare on the way back.

As you can see, the cheapest fares available will be Economy Light. This fare type allows travelers to bring one personal item that can fit under the seat in front of them. Norse charges $45 for each full-size carry-on item, $60 for entry-level checked bags and $75 for standard-size checked bags.
Additional charges include seat selection starting at $28, and meals are $30. There's a $200 fee for bookings changed more than 24 hours after the initial purchase.
