Emirates is putting Italy on sale this fall with round-trip flights for less than $500 per person from New York (JFK) to Milan (MXP) operated by the carrier's A380 aircraft. In the past, this type of deal has required a purchase of at least two tickets, but this time around, you can book just one. Additionally, Emirates is allowing passengers to route through Dubai for about the same cost. While that option adds a lot of extra flight time, it's a great way to explore Dubai for a day at a minimal extra cost. Note that you can also find these fares on other online travel agencies (OTAs) at slightly cheaper prices.
