Who's eligible?
This promotion is only for travelers who are not current IHG Rewards members as well as those who joined within 30 days prior to registering for the promotion. In addition, you must be a resident of the U.S. or the U.K. and must register for the promotion by Nov. 30.

After registration, new members have until Dec. 26 to complete two qualifying stays at participating IHG properties in order to earn a reward night worth up to 40,000 points. A qualifying stay is defined as at least one night at a rate of more than $30 — so stays booked using points do not count.

Reward night details
After joining IHG Rewards and registering for the promotion by Nov. 30 — and completing two qualifying stays by Dec. 26 — new members can expect their reward night to be deposited into their accounts within two to six weeks. Once received, it's valid for 120 days — though note that you must book and complete your stay prior to the expiration date.
In addition, the number of points needed to book a reward night can vary, so not all properties and dates will be eligible.
