Mexico deal alert: Plan a weekend escape to Los Cabos from $219 nonstop
Whether you're looking for one last weekend getaway before summer ends or you want to start planning a fall trip, Mexico certainly fits the bill.
This latest fare sale includes nonstop flights to San Jose del Cabo from a number of U.S. cities including Denver, Houston, New York City, Los Angeles and Seattle. We found round-trip fares in the low $200s to the picturesque resort town in southern Baja.
This deal is for basic economy tickets, which means you will pay extra to check a bag. With United and JetBlue, it also means you won't get a full-size carry-on bag, so try to pack light. Otherwise, expect to pay extra to upgrade. Checked bags will likely cost you around $60 round trip. As we always suggest, reach out to the airline or check online for the carrier's baggage policy.
The best availability we found was for travel between August and November this year. Some routes to Cabo are also discounted between January and May 2023.

Sample flights
JetBlue has flights in late August from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) for $219 nonstop. Keep in mind this fare doesn't come with a full-size carry-on bag. A checked bag will cost you $30 each way.
United has basic economy nonstop flights in late September from LAX to Los Cabos for $249 round trip. Same deal as with JetBlue; you'll have to pay $35 each way to check a bag.
September is also when you can book a Delta economy ticket from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) to Los Cabos for $268 nonstop.
Houston to Mexico is also available in this deal. United has nonstop flights from George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) to San Jose del Cabo for $273 round trip.
JetBlue has nonstop flights from New York City's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Cabo in September for $329 round trip.
American has some good availability on nonstops from New York City as well. This late November ticket costs $359 round trip, a decent price during a time of year when escaping to warmer weather is on the minds of many New Yorkers.
We'll end with some great prices on flights out of Denver. United has nonstop flights from Denver International Airport (DEN) to Los Cabos for as low as $313 round trip in September. We found several juicy price cuts for flights from Denver to Mexico in December, too.
