Kimpton's latest sale beats the winter blues with up to 20% off
We're big fans of Kimpton's promotions. We've gotten free snacks, drinks and swag with secret passwords, and even free dog walks. Also, Kimpton offers a number of periodic sales that keep us returning to the brand, including this latest one.
For Kimpton's latest winter sale, from now through Feb. 6, IHG One Rewards members can save between 10% and 20% on Kimpton's Best Flexible Rate at participating properties.
Members also get a number of extra bonus perks such as late checkout, free minibar snacks, points toward reward nights and faster Wi-Fi.
All rooms also include a hosted evening social hour every night with wine and beer, complimentary morning coffee and tea service, as well as free use of the brand's Public bikes.

Sample deals
To be fair, this is not the best sale we've seen from Kimpton. Last winter's sale for similar dates offered discounts of 25% to 35%. However, that had relatively limited availability.
Kimpton indicates that deals for this year's winter sale are for select properties. However, at first glance, we can't find many that aren't included. Some of our favorite Kimptons are here, too.
One example is the Kimpton Taconic Hotel in the Green Mountains of Manchester, Vermont. Looking at a late spring stay, we found a 10% discount from the regular member discount and 20% from the usual rate of $209 for the special winter sale.
Also, you can book this hotel through Skylark for additional VIP perks.
In the West, the Kimpton Armory Hotel in Bozeman, which is a great entry point to Yellowstone National Park, is also included in the sale. You can also receive additional perks when you book this property through Skylark.
Kimpton properties in Europe, Asia, the Caribbean and elsewhere around the globe are also part of this sale, including the TPG-reviewed Kimpton Margot Sydney.
In Paris, the Kimpton St Honore also offers 20% off the regular rack rate for members.
Bottom line
Remember, not all Kimpton properties are participating in this promotion, and some have particular dates or days of the week blacked out. You can see all the participating Kimpton properties on IHG's website.
The cancellation policy for this winter sale rate is three to seven days. We recommend that you go ahead and book stays for any potential spring trips and take advantage of these savings because you have time to cancel your reservation if your plans change.
