Act fast: Alaska Airlines is selling one-way fares to Hawaii for as low as $99
This is one not to wait on. Alaska Airlines has a fare sale for flights to some of the most popular destinations in Hawaii. If your schedule is flexible in April and May and you live in Alaska or on the West Coast, this deal may be too tempting to resist. The travel window for this sale is April 10 through May 22. There are some restrictions that vary by city, so be sure to read them before you book.
You must book your flights by the end of the day Thursday. Moving forward, these types of deals will most likely be sent to those customers who sign up for Alaska's new monthly subscription service. The service, dubbed "Alaska Access," costs $5 a month and promises to give subscribers advance notice of the airline's best sales.

Seattle Paine Field International Airport (PAE)
Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)
Portland International Airport (PDX)
San Diego International Airport (SAN)

The cheapest fares available will be for Alaska's Saver fares. Those tickets give travelers a free carry-on bag.
An easy way to search for the sale fares is to enter your preferred destination, your departure city and the dates you're traveling. In this case, that would be April 10-May 22, the sale window.

Another way to simplify your search is to click the calendar view to see the lowest fares available for a specific month. For example, we did it for flights to Kauai from San Diego, and found a number of dates with available departure and return flights at the $99 rate.

April is a good month to find a bargain flight from Southern California to Hawaii. For example, this itinerary from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Honolulu's Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) is only $228 round-trip.

The best price we found from Anchorage, one of the carrier's hubs, to the Hawaiian Islands was this Honolulu itinerary in April for just under $475 round-trip.
