If you want to let your inner beach bum out this winter, then this deal to Florida could be for you. American, Delta, JetBlue, Southwest and United are offering flights below $100 round-trip to Fort Myers. Travel from January to November to this low-key Gulf Coast destination known as the City of Palms.

This deal was originally sent out by Thrifty Traveler Premium, which for $7.99 monthly or $49.99 annually will send news of cheap flights, award flight sales and business-class deals to your email.

Deal basics

Departing round-trip flights to Fort Myers (RSW) are available from U.S. cities including:

  • Atlanta (ATL) — $157.
  • Baltimore (BWI) — $137.
  • Cincinnati (CVG) — $147.
  • Chicago (ORD) — $128.
  • Detroit (DTW) — $157.
  • Indianapolis (IND) — $147.
  • Louisville (SDF) — $137.
  • Milwaukee (MKE) — $142.
  • Minneapolis (MSP) — $118.
  • New York (JFK/LGA) — $98.

There are a variety of flight options from New York (LGA) and Newark (EWR) to Fort Myers from $98 round-trip throughout February on Delta and United. The economy fare on Delta includes a carry-on, but not on United. Both carriers charge an additional fee for seat selection and a checked bag.

Those in Minnesota can plan a warm Florida getaway for $118 from Minneapolis (MSP) to Fort Myers nonstop round-trip. The deal is for a basic economy ticket on Delta, which includes one carry-on. A seat selection is not an option and a checked bag will cost extra.

Speaking of cold winter temperatures, Chicagoans can also use this deal to plan for an affordable, warm-weather retreat. We found a direct flight from Chicago (ORD) to Fort Myers at $128 round-trip in February on American Airlines. The economy ticket includes one carry-on but there is a fee for a checked bag.

We found a Main Cabin option from Washington (DCA) to Fort Myers for $138 round-trip on American Airlines at the beginning of March. This ticket includes free seat selection, one carry-on and no fee for changes (though a different fare may apply). A checked bag, extra legroom and priority boarding are available for additional fees.
