The following deals on JetBlue are for Blue Basic seats which allow you a personal item. You will pay extra for seat selection and a carry-on bag. The fee for the checked bag is $35 on domestic flights.

One of the cheapest options we found was from New Orleans (MSY) to Fort Lauderdale (FLL) nonstop for $64.79 round-trip including taxes and fees in mid-January.

We found a round-trip flight from New York (JFK) to Fort Lauderdale (FLL) nonstop for $96.80 including taxes and fees. New Yorkers: You can fly to Florida for less than the cost of a monthly MetroCard. There are also a number of flights from Newark (EWR) at the same price throughout January and parts of February.

Nonstop deals from Boston (BOS) to Fort Lauderdale (FLL) are limited to January. We found a direct flight for $97 in mid-January, which is when Boston is pretty chilly.

There are many options available for flights from Washington D.C. (DCA) to Fort Lauderdale (FLL) in January and February from $117 and $137 round-trip. That price is less than half of what you will pay in the spring and summer months.
