This deal was first published by Scott's Cheap Flights, which offers a premium membership that sends readers alerts on discounted fares for $49 a year. The affordable rates below to Liberia and San Jose are available for travel from March to June. Discounted flights to San Jose are also available from October to November.

On the East Coast, a flight from New York (JFK) to Liberia (LIR) will cost $258 round-trip at the beginning of April in the offer below.

A flight from Washington D.C., (DCA) to San Jose (SJO) is widely available at $280 round-trip on United. The return flight has a long layover in Houston (IAH).
