Round-trip fares from US cities to Edinburgh from $500
With a storied castle and gloriously well-preserved historic district at its core, a robust theater scene and, of course, plenty of spots to sample scotch, Edinburgh is well worth a visit whether for a long weekend or a longer getaway.
It's also the ideal jumping-off point to explore Scotland, an especially pleasant spring break trip.
