Labor Day ski sale: Discounted Epic Passes and Vail Resorts lodging through Sept. 4

Though it may still feel like summer outside, the kids are back to school, and fall is upon us. As we look ahead to September, it's not too early to start thinking about ski season, especially when there's a deal.
Mountaingoers age 13 and older can purchase the Epic Pass at a discounted rate ($929) from Aug. 24 to Sept. 4. The pass allows unlimited access to ski resorts across North America, Europe and Australia for the upcoming 2023-2024 ski season.
Plus, Epic Pass holders can get early access to Vail Resorts' Winter Getaway Sale to save an additional 20% off already discounted winter lodging rates.

For $929, travelers can purchase an Epic Pass for the upcoming 2023-2024 ski season. It can be used at more than 80 Vail Resorts and partner mountains, including Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Crested Butte, Park City, Whistler Blackcomb, Andermatt-Sedrun-Disentis, Heavenly and Stowe.
No resorts on the Epic Pass require reservations, except for Telluride, which can be booked online through Epic Pass.
Additionally, other perks for passholders include:
- Unlimited access to resorts without needing to make a reservation (excluding Telluride)
- Six additional discounted lift tickets each season for friends and family
- Early access to save up to 20% on lodging, ski and snowboard group lessons, ski and snowboard gear rentals, and on-mountain food and beverage (up to $150 daily); 20% off select on-mountain activities; and 20% off the Epic Mountain Express private or shared shuttles from Denver International Airport (DEN) and Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) at Vail Resorts' 37 North American resorts
Passes are nonrefundable except for those purchased through Epic Coverage, which provides refunds for certain resort closures and personal events.
Epic Local passes will also be on sale for $689, along with the Epic Day Pass, which starts at $41 per day and can be used to save up to 65% off lift tickets.
Ahead of public access Aug. 29, Epic Pass holders receive early access to lock in discounted winter lodging rates at a variety of hotels, condos and vacation residences across Vail Resorts' portfolio, including:
- Vail: The Lodge at Vail, a RockResort; The Arrabelle, a RockResort; and The Hythe, a Luxury Collection Resort
- Beaver Creek: The Osprey, a RockResort and The Pines Lodge, a RockResort
- Breckenridge: One Ski Hill Place, a RockResort and Gravity Haus Breckenridge
- Keystone: Keystone Lodge & Spa
- Crested Butte: The Lodge at Mountaineer Square and The Grand Lodge Hotel & Suites
