Discounted Fairmont Hotels in Hawaii and Arizona
Update: Some offers mentioned below are no longer available. View the current offers here.
American Express and the US Travel Association (a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting US travel) have partnered to offer discounts and deals with various travel brands and loyalty programs during the next month, including hotel packages, points/miles purchase promos, rental car discounts and more. These deals are called the Daily Getaways.
Each day we'll hash out the details of that day's deal to see whether it's worth taking advantage of.
Today's deal goes live at 1 pm EDT, and you can sign up for alerts if you'd like to be notified when the deals go live.
All of these promotions have the added benefit that you can save an additional 10% by purchasing with an Amex card, like the Platinum and Premier Rewards Gold, or even co-branded cards like Gold Delta SkyMiles Credit Card from American Express and the Starwood Preferred Guest Credit Card from American Express.

Friday June 20: Fairmont Hotels
- Six nights in Hawaii at The Fairmont Kea Lani (Maui) or Fairmont Orchid (Big Island) for $1,980 (12 available)
- Three nights at the Fairmount Scottsdale Princess for $675 (10 available)
This is an excellent offer if you can manage to get one. The Scottsdale Princess starts at $349 a night for a weekend in November (keep in mind this is the prime time for Arizona weather), for a total of $1,047. In comparison, the Daily Getaway is a steal at $675 ($607.50 with Amex discount) for three one-night stay certificates, and you also get breakfast each day.

Additionally, the Fairmont Kea Lani starts at $549 per night in August on the Fairmont website, for a total of $3294 for six nights. The Daily Getaway price is a huge money saver at $1,980 ($1782 with Amex discount) for six one-night stay certificates.
The fact that the certificates for both deals never expire is great. You can also use the certificates separately if you wish. I would love to get this either of these promotions, but (tell me if you've heard this one before) I probably won't even try, since there are so few available.
This is the last day of Daily Getaways, so these two deals (with just 22 available) are your last chance to pick one up. Good luck to those who decide to click for the gold; may the mouse be with you!
