Thinking of taking a spontaneous long-weekend trip to visit cosmopolitan Shanghai, or is climbing the Great Wall of China on your longer-term travel bucket list? Now is the perfect time to apply for your 10-year Chinese visa through Allied Passport — a valuable resource for securing visas for any countries that require them. For a limited time, Allied Passport is offering a discount on its service fee for processing the 10-year Chinese visa. From now through December 23, you'll pay just $9 for your processing fee, a $50 discount off the typical $59 fee.

In order to qualify for a 10-year Chinese visa, you must hold a United States passport, with at least 12 months remaining on the validity of your passport. Additionally, you must have two adjacent blank visa pages within your passport in order for the visa to be issued. When you're filling out the Allied Order Form, write in "The Points Guy" in the referral box to receive the $50 discount on the processing fee. Note that the discount is valid per applicant, up to 4 people (meaning a family of 4 would receive a $200 discount in total). You must submit your order on or before December 23, 2016 in order to be eligible, and you'll have to pay the shipping costs in addition to the China embassy fee.
