Located in Quintana Roo near the Yucatan Peninsula, Cancun is familiar to travelers who love the warm weather in Mexico. As we head into spring break, what better way to celebrate than with some deals to Cancun? American Airlines is offering cheap flights starting under $250 round trip from U.S. cities.

The offers below are for basic economy fares on American Airlines, which include a standard seat and carry-on. A checked bag will cost $30 each way.

The quickest and one of the cheapest deals we found is from Miami (MIA) to Cancun (CUN) for $235 round-trip. According to Google Flights, this rate is cheaper by almost $200 for the dates below in May.

You can snag a nonstop flight to Cancun (CUN) from Austin (AUS) for $235 round trip.

Flights are available from Chicago (ORD) to Cancun (CUN) at $240 round trip. The offer includes a stop in Dallas (DFW) on the departure and an overnight layover in Charlotte (CLT) on the return. The price for this flight is cheaper by over $250 for the dates below, according to Google Flights.

Travelers can go from New Orleans (MSY) to Cancun (CUN) for $250 round trip, over $100 cheaper than usual for these dates in May, according to Google Flights. There is a nearly six-hour stop in Austin (AUS) on the departure flight and about a three-and-a-half-hour stop in Miami (MIA) on the return.

Bottom line
