Early Black Friday sale: Fly TAP Air Portugal to Europe from various US cities from $335 round-trip
TAP Air Portugal isn't waiting for Black Friday to drop its big holiday sale. The carrier has "Black FLYday" deals on economy fares to Europe from U.S. departure cities like Boston, Miami, New York City and San Francisco for as low as $359 round-trip. You can save even more by using TAP Miles&Go miles.
We found a number of round-trip fares under $400 to great destinations including Barcelona, Copenhagen, Madrid, Dublin and Paris. The travel window for this sale is January through May of next year. Keep in mind that the discounted fares are not available from April 7-22.
The fares in this sale all include layovers. You also get a free carry-on bag (up to 22 pounds) and a personal item. Checked luggage will cost you around $91 each way.

Tip: The home page for TAP's sale lists the discounted fares by destination city, so you can get a head start on booking travel there.

You can fly from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) to MAD in late March for $359 round-trip. This includes a layover in Lisbon. Even better, if you're part of the airline's TAP Miles&Go rewards program, you can use miles to save even more on the sale fares. This itinerary below is $359, but it can be booked for just $335 round-trip using 200 miles plus cash.

You can fly from Miami International Airport (MIA) to BCN in the spring for the same $359 fare. Again, 200 miles will save you an additional $24 off the ticket price.

Most of the sub-$400 fares are for flights to Spain, but we found itineraries from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) to ORY for $360 round-trip, including the Miles&Go promo discount.

If you live in Northern California, you can jet from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) to MXP in March for just $429 round-trip.

According to Google Flights data, that's a significant markdown from what that itinerary typically costs.

We also found good discounts on flights from Chicago to Rome. In late February, you can fly from O'Hare International Airport (ORD) to FCO for $404 round-trip.

Bottom line
TAP has especially good availability for travel in the spring, especially to Spain. Dig around and see which itinerary works best for your schedule. The sale ends Dec. 4, but the lowest fares will most likely be gone well before then. Don't wait too long before you book your flight.
