If you book this deal, use a credit card that earns bonus points on airfare purchases. For Amazon purchases specifically, consider:

  • Discover it® Cash Back: Enroll to earn 5% cash back (on up to $1,500 in cumulative spending on purchases for the quarter, then 1%) at Amazon.com through Dec. 31.
  • Prime Visa: Earn 5% cash back on Amazon purchases. Plus, earn 2% cash back at restaurants, at gas stations, on local transit and on commuting expenses (including ride-hailing services) and 1% cash back on all other purchases. New Prime Visa cardholders can get a $100 gift card upon approval.

The information for the Discover it Cash Back has been collected independently by The Points Guy. The card details on this page have not been reviewed or provided by the card issuer.

Otherwise, consider using:

  • Chase Sapphire Preferred Card: Earn 2 points per dollar spent on travel.
  • American Express® Gold Card: Earn 3 points per dollar spent on airfare when booked directly through the airline or American Express Travel.
  • The Platinum Card® from American Express: Earn 5 points per dollar spent on airfare when booked directly through the airline or American Express Travel (on up to $500,000 of these purchases per calendar year, then 1 point per dollar).
  • Chase Sapphire Reserve: Earn 3 points per dollar spent on airfare.

Bottom line

We rarely see deals targeted at students specifically, let alone $25 flights. Given that the offer is limited in quantity, we recommend being logged in and ready to go at the time this deal launches.
