Book round-trip fares to Ireland for as low as $369 with this Aer Lingus deal
Enjoy a pint at a pub in Dublin or stroll through the small Irish towns near Shannon this year — Aer Lingus is offering round-trip flights to Ireland starting at $369.
Fly from a handful of U.S. cities to either Dublin or Shannon. Travel dates for this deal are from Jan. 18 to May 31, so you have ample time to plan your trip.
This deal lasts until Jan. 25 and fares largely depend on the U.S. region you're flying from. East Coast flights to Ireland are $369, Midwest ones start at $459 and West Coast flights cost $499.

Sample flights
While prices in this deal largely depend on the region you're flying from, dates matter, too. Fares are more expensive for trips taking place between April 1 and May 31 compared to those booked between Jan. 18 and March 31. For example, any East Coast travel to Ireland will cost $369 if it's from Jan. 18 to March 31, but those fares then shoot up to $499 for any trip from April 1 to May 31.
These are a few flights we thought were worth booking:
- Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) to Shannon Airport (SNN), starting at $369.
- Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) to Dublin Airport (DUB), starting at $369.
- Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) to DUB, starting at $422.
- Dulles International Airport (IAD) to DUB, starting at $459.
- Miami International Airport (MIA) to DUB, starting at $483.
- Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to DUB, starting at $498.
For a trip from Boston to Dublin on March 1, Aer Lingus shows a couple of options for economy fares, with each one costing less than $200. One flight leaves at 6:15 p.m. and the other at 9:30 p.m. For a return to Boston on March 6, Aer Lingus has one economy flight that leaves at 11:30 a.m. and another that departs at 4:45 p.m.
The cheapest economy option falls under Aer Lingus' Saver class, which only includes a carry-on and a complimentary meal. Seat selection and checked baggage come with additional fees.
If you decide to book a Saver economy ticket, you'll have to pay extra for seat selection. Seats cost anywhere from $29.99 to $114.99 — the most expensive seats are located in exit rows and have extra legroom.
Prices for checked baggage depend on the weight. Bags that weigh up to 44 pounds cost $109.98 and the heaviest possible bags, which weigh between 56 and 66 pounds, cost $129.98.

Be sure to use a card that earns bonus points on airfare purchases, like The Platinum Card® from American Express (5 points per dollar on airfare booked directly with the airline or through American Express Travel, on up to $500,000 on these purchases per calendar year), Citi Prestige® Card (5 points per dollar on airfare), Citi Premier® Card, Chase Sapphire Reserve (3 points per dollar on airfare), American Express® Gold Card (3 points per dollar on airfare when booked directly with the airline or through Amex Travel) or the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card (2 points per dollar on travel). Bottom line
This Aer Lingus deal is great if you've been itching to visit Ireland, especially during those warmer months, as flights can get expensive. Even though these deals apply to Aer Lingus' economy fare, the price is still hard to beat.
Plus, you have some flexibility with this deal, given that the travel dates extend from Jan. 18 all the way to May 31. If you want a springtime visit, you have ample time to plan your Ireland trip before booking.
