Switzerland-based MSC Cruises is a relative newcomer to the North American cruise market, but it boasts the third-largest fleet in the industry. Like Royal Caribbean and Norwegian, MSC operates big resort-like vessels that appeal to a broad audience and offer year-round sailings to the Caribbean and the Bahamas from Miami, Port Canaveral and New York. It also operates its own private island, Ocean Cay, in the Bahamas.
