Contributing editor
TPG since 2022
Matt Moffitt is a TPG contributing editor for credit cards who’s passionate about helping readers earn the most points possible and redeem them for maximum value. He carries at least 25 cards in his wallet at any given time and brings over a decade of experience in credit cards and points and miles to every story.

He led TPG's credit cards vertical from 2022 through 2024 before moving into his current contributing role.

Before TPG, he served as managing editor of Australian frequent flyer site Point Hacks and worked as a content curator at Pinterest. He has spoken at credit card conferences, has appeared on multiple travel podcasts and been quoted in major national and international media outlets.

Originally from Sydney, Australia, Matt won the Green Card Lottery and spent a decade living in Austin, Texas. He is now based in Spain.

Matt is on a quest to try all of the world's top first-class products, with his favorites so far being Emirates, Etihad and Singapore Airlines, all flown on the Airbus A380.
Avoid over-touristed destinations at peak times. Often, nearby alternatives like Albania instead of the Greek Islands, or Malaysia instead of Singapore, offer better value, fewer tourists and warmer interactions with locals. In fact, some of my best trips have been to places like Bolivia, Iran and Poland, where crowds are thinner and experiences feel more authentic.
