Medha Imam is an on-camera host and video producer with over seven years of experience in multimedia journalism, spanning travel, aviation, business, food, and culture. She currently serves as a Travel Host and Video Producer at The Points Guy, where she leads global travel video productions for The Points Guy Departures and The Points Guy Arrivals YouTube channels and creates in-depth reviews designed to help audiences make smarter, more informed travel decisions.
Before joining TPG, Medha held hosting and producing roles at Business Insider and theSkimm, where she developed and starred in high-performing video series across YouTube and social platforms. Her work at Business Insider includes some of the outlet’s most-watched content, including episodes of Legendary Eats, with her Chicago cake shake feature surpassing 19 million views. She has also produced large-scale aviation and logistics reporting, including coverage of Lufthansa Cargo operations at Chicago O’Hare during the global vaccine rollout.
Medha’s reporting has taken her from airline cabins and airport cargo hubs to farms, kitchens, and international destinations, often serving simultaneously as host, producer, editor and shooter. She joined The Points Guy to combine her passion for travel and visual storytelling with TPG’s mission of making better travel more accessible for everyone. Her work often focuses on travel across South Asia, the Middle East, and South America, and she produces content in English, Urdu, Hindi, and Spanish.
