James Besteman

James Besteman made the move from Portland, Oregon to New York City in the summer of 2009.  After signing with a Top 10 modeling agency, he discovered his love of travel when he was offered a contract to live and work in Tokyo.  From there, his work in the fashion and commercial industry took him through Asia, Europe and around the United States.  He’s visited 23 countries thus far, and his bucket list includes:  The Maldives, Iceland, Peru, Cambodia, and Space (if we can get there commercially at some point in his lifetime!).

An avid thrill seeker and animal lover, his most notable travel experiences were climbing Mt Fuji, bungee jumping the Macau Tower, hang-gliding the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee and volunteering his time at an elephant sanctuary in Thailand.
