Halle Newman

Halle is TPG's travel intern, and she's thrilled to be taking on a new city for the summer: New York. Halle is a rising senior at Wesleyan University, where she majors in Dance and History and studies journalism through the Writing Certificate program. Halle works as a Senior Interviewer for the Wesleyan Office of Admissions and writes for the Wesleyan Argus.

Originally from Burlington, Vermont, Halle grew up skiing, hiking and exploring the Green Mountains with her family. Although she has plenty of fond travel memories -- like sauntering through the streets of London or snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef-- her favorite moment on a trip is always the plane's takeoff.
