Earn 2x Points on All Hilton Stays Through the End of the Year

Through the end of the year, Hilton Honors is offering guests the opportunity to earn double points on all stays. Between September 1 and December 31, 2017, you can register with your Hilton Honors number to earn the bonus points — similar to the Go More, Get More promotion through August 31, 2017.
To register for the Double Up promotion, head to Hilton's website and enter your Honors account number and password. Once you do, you'll get a confirmation screen that you've successfully registered and are eligible to begin earning the 2x points on all of your stays. In addition, if you're a Diamond member, you'll earn 10,000 bonus Honors points for every 10 nights you stay at a Hilton during the promotion period for a maximum of 50,000 points.
The terms and conditions for the promotion state that it's valid for any Hilton property in the world except those that are Hampton by Hilton Hotels in Mainland China. There's no limit to the amount of 2x points you can earn, as long as they're earned during the promotion period, and there's no minimum stay requirement. In addition, registration is required prior to your first eligible stay.
You can earn even more points when you pay for your stays with a Hilton co-branded card such as the Hilton Honors Surpass Card from American Express. The card is currently offering a sign-up bonus of 75,000 Honors points after you spend $3,000 within the first three months of account opening. The card earns 12 points for every dollar spent with a Hilton property, as well as 6x points at US restaurants, supermarkets and gas stations and 3x points on all other purchases. With the 12x points you get from the card coupled with the Gold elite status bonus (you also get with the card) and the 2x bonus on base points, you could be getting a pretty fantastic return on your stays.
