Hilton announced a double points or miles promotion (registration required) for their “Q3″ (July 1- September 30, 2011) promotion. While this is better than nothing, its hardly a blockbuster promotion. Choose wisely when you register because once you make your selection, it cannot be changed.
There are also a bunch of non-participating hotels (including a lot of lower end properties), so check to make sure your upcoming stay will qualify.
I’m still more excited about my new Hilton Gold status that I “earned” just for entering my American Airlines Visa Signature card!
