Tip: Refer a Friend on Airbnb for Credit Toward Free Stays
If you're an Airbnb member, you can refer your friends and family to the site using a referral link and get credit in return. Once one of your referrals stays at an Airbnb property, you'll get up to $35 in travel credit (this amount can fluctuate from $20-$35 depending on your currency, location, certain promotions and Airbnb's terms), which you can then redeem for future stays.
Plus, those you are referring will also get up to $35 toward their first qualifying stay. Airbnb's terms state that a qualifying stay must have a total value (without guest fees or taxes) of at least $75 in order for you to obtain the credit. If a referral hosts an Airbnb guest, you can receive up to $75 in credit.
If you want to find your own referral link, here's how:
- Once you're logged in, click on your profile icon in the top right-hand corner and select "Invite Friends"
- Here, you can view the amount of credit you and the person you're referring will get
- You'll then see options to copy and paste your referral link or share via email or on Facebook.
Just posting this on your Facebook page or social media accounts could easily get you a free night or more. You can share your referral links either via the website or from the app on your phone or tablet.

It's possible for a single user to earn a maximum of $5,000 in Airbnb travel credits via the referral program. If you're looking for a referral link so you can sign up, check out TPG's here for $35 in stay credit.
