The Points Guy Sweepstakes and Contests: Additional Rules
These Additional Rules, together with the Official General Rules ("General Rules"), govern the Promotion defined below to be conducted by The Points Guy ("TPG"). These Additional Rules will prevail in the event of an inconsistency between the terms and conditions of the General Rules and the terms and conditions of these Additional Rules. By participating, you explicitly agree to these Additional Rules and to the General Rules governing TPG promotions.
PROMOTION: TPG Current Users Survey Giveaway ("Giveaway")
SPONSOR: TPG, 1423 Red Ventures Drive, Fort Mill, South Carolina 29707 is the sponsor of this Giveaway. Any questions relating to this Giveaway should be directed to TPG.
Marriott, Hilton, Virgin Atlantic, British Airways and UserLytics are not sponsors of or otherwise associated with this Giveaway.
ELIGIBILITY: NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT IMPROVE OR INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. The Giveaway is open to individuals who are residents of the fifty (50) United States or D.C. age 21 or older at the time of entry who are invited by TPG and who complete and submit the Loyalty Rewards and Behavior Survey. Note that not all invitees will be eligible to complete the Survey, which will include qualifying questions about the use of rewards and loyalty programs.
Employees, officers and directors of TPG, its parent, affiliated and subsidiary companies, advertising and promotional agencies and persons engaged in the development of the Giveaway materials, and members of the immediate family (parents, siblings, children and spouse, wherever they reside) or household (whether or not related) of such employees, officers and directors are not eligible to participate in the Giveaway. Participants confirm that they meet all eligibility requirements.
PROMOTION PERIOD: The Giveaway begins at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on Friday, December 19, 2025, and ends at 11:59:59 pm. ET on Monday, January 5, 2026 (the "Promotion Period") or may end sooner if we reach 400 completed surveys/entries. The server hosting thepointsguy.com website is the official time clock for the Giveaway. Late submissions will not be accepted. If the Giveaway is terminated early due to reaching the response limit, Sponsor will send an e-mail notification to all invitees.
HOW TO ENTER: During the Promotion Period, complete the Loyalty Rewards and Behavior Survey ("Survey") and associated entry form via the UserLytics link provided in the e-mail that you received from TPG. The Survey asks participants to select answers and complete open-ended questions about their credit card experience with the different credit cards or loyalty programs they have in their wallet or to which they belong (including but not limited to, how they signed up, what communications or benefits they have used, how they value and use the program's features, overall satisfaction) and then complete their name, valid email address, and any other required fields as indicated. All required fields must be answered for a valid entry into the Giveaway.
Limit one entry per individual by any method during the entire Promotion Period. Any additional entries by the same individual will be deemed void. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules (including attempting to enter more than once), your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of TPG. Any Survey entries that include non-responsive or otherwise off-subject answers will be disqualified, in the sole discretion of TPG.
By giving your permission in the Survey, you hereby grant to Sponsor a perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free license in and to the answers/reviews provided in your Survey response/entry, so that Sponsor has the right to use, not use, display, post, publish, share, copy, edit, combine and create derivative works from the answers/reviews in any and all media, worldwide, without limitation or further obligation to you or any other party. If you enter using a mobile device, standard data charges may apply from your carrier.
SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS: Within seven days after the close of the Promotion Period, Sponsor will select one (1) Grand Prize winner and two (2) Bonus winners in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. The first winner drawn will be the Grand Prize winner. The second and third winners drawn will be the two Bonus winners. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. The Grand Prize winner must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability (where legal), within seven days following receipt, in order to claim the Grand Prize. All potential winners will be notified via e-mail at the e-mail address provided in the survey/entry form. If any notification e-mail is returned as non-deliverable, or if a potential winner is found to be ineligible or not in full compliance with the Official General Rules and these Additional Rules, or if a potential Grand Prize winner fails to sign and return the required documents to claim the prize within the deadline, then that potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner selected and notified in accordance with the General Rules and these Additional Rules. Sponsor reserves the right not to award a Prize if it is unable to confirm a winner after three attempts.

The estimated total value for all Prizes is $1,300.00. The actual value of the Grand Prize program points may vary depending upon which program is selected, how and when the winner redeems the points, and other factors. Winner will not receive any difference between the estimated value and actual value of the program points in the prize.
PRIZE TERMS: No substitutions of Prize except in Sponsor's sole discretion. No cash in lieu of Prize. The 30-minute points and miles consultations with a TPG expert will be conducted as a video call, scheduled at a mutually convenient time within sixty (60) days of Sponsor receiving the signed documentation in the case of the Grand Prize winner or within sixty (60) days following the end of the Promotion Period in the case of the two Bonus winners. If any winner fails to schedule the consultation by that date, or fails to show up for the scheduled consultation, then the prize will be forfeited with no compensation and no substitution of prize, and no alternate winner will be selected. If Grand Prize winner does not already have an account with the rewards program that they choose for the prize points, the winner will need to create an account as part of the confirmation process and provide those details to Sponsor. If the Grand Prize winner already has an account for the selected prize points, then winner will provide those details to Sponsor as part of the confirmation process. It is free to set up a rewards account for each of the programs listed in the Grand Prize, and each program is subject to all terms and conditions generally applicable thereto. Sponsor will transfer the points to the Grand Prize winner's account within thirty (30) days following receipt of the signed documentation. All winners are solely responsible for any federal, state and local taxes applicable to their prize. The Grand Prize winner is solely responsible for all costs, fees, expenses, and other charges that are directly or indirectly related to the use of their prize and redemption of program points (e.g., airline tickets, travel costs such as connecting flights, baggage fees, ground transportation, parking, hotels, tips, souvenirs, meals, phone or internet charges, insurance, passports and the like). Redemption of the Grand Prize rewards points is subject to all terms and conditions applicable to the selected program. Please see the additional terms and limitations applicable to prizes in the General Rules.
PRIVACY: Personal data will be processed by TPG in accordance with its Privacy Policy (as may be amended from time to time) located at https://thepointsguy.com/privacy-policy/ .
WINNERS LIST: For the names of the winners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to TPG CURRENT USERS SURVEY GIVEAWAY Winners List, 1423 Red Ventures Drive, Fort Mill, SC 29707 within 30 days following the close of the Giveaway. Requests received after that date will not be processed. Allow 4-6 weeks following the receipt of the request or the close of the Promotion Period, whichever is later, for delivery of the list.
