Use SPG points to attend the US Open tennis matches in style
For example, there are currently some SPG and Marriott packages available that include not only seats to the US Open matches, but also admission to the SPG Luxury Suite with complimentary food and beverages. The award prices vary based on the match, but two tickets with SPG Luxury Suite access start at 40,000 SPG points.
If you are itching to pick up a racket yourself, you can bid to get a training session with a USTA teaching promo at Arthur Ashe Stadium before heading to the SPG Luxury Suite to watch the pros take a swing.
Two courtside tickets US Open to the matches at Louis Armstrong Stadium start at 15,000 SPG points for the pair of tickets. Grandstand courtside seats start at 10,000 SPG points for a pair of tickets.
Marriott Rewards Moments also has similar US Open packages available, including an Arthur Ashe Kid's Day package for 45,000 Marriott points that includes two tickets to:
- Entrance to Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing N.Y., on Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 9:30am to 3:00pm
- Tickets to a Luxury Suite (Suite number to be confirmed) for the stadium show
- Complimentary kid-friendly snacks and beverages while in the suite
If you are interested in attending the US Open using your SPG or Marriott Rewards points, I recommend checking out all the available packages ASAP as they can and do sell out. I attended a SPG Amex event at the US Open a couple of years ago and every single person I met there was having an absolute blast.
Do you plan to use some SPG or Marriott Rewards points to attend the annual US Open?
