Just like Marriott's first MegaBonus promo for 2018, Starwood Preferred Guest is also offering bonus Starpoints for each stay. With the SPG Great Weeks, Grand Weekends promotion, you can earn double Starpoints for every stay, with the ability to earn an additional 500 bonus Starpoints.

The bonus breaks down as such: After your second stay, you'll earn 2x Starpoints per stay, and if your stay includes a weekend night you'll earn an additional 500 bonus Starpoints. You must register for the promotion by March 31, 2018, and stay between January 16 and April 15, 2018, in order to earn the bonus Starpoints.

According to the terms and conditions, there's no maximum earning on this promotion. SPG considers a stay to be one or more consecutive nights spent at the same hotel. A weekend night is defined as a Friday or Saturday night except in the following locations, where a weekend night is defined as a Thursday or Friday night: Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and United Arab Emirates. Also note that not all SPG properties are participating in this promotion. You can find a list of participating properties here.

If you have stays coming up for the first quarter of 2018, be sure to register for this promotion before completing them. SPG members earn 2 Starpoints per dollar spent, so beginning with your second stay, you'll earn 4 Starpoints per dollar. However, if you have status or book using a co-branded card such as the Starwood Preferred Guest® Credit Card from American Express, you'll earn even more points when coupled with this promotion.
