Bilt Rewards, the start-up that allows renters to earn transferrable points on rent, is gearing up for the Nov. 1 edition of its monthly Rent Day promotion.
This time, members will earn double points on all non-rent purchases for 24 hours, be able to register for a United Airlines Premier elite status challenge and bring a companion to a SoulCycle class for free.
Some of the festivities start tomorrow, Oct. 27, in the Bilt Rewards app. Let’s take a closer look.
Double Bilt points
From 12:00 a.m. until 11:59 p.m. ET on Nov. 1, Bilt cardholders will earn double points on all purchases, excluding rent. When you use your Bilt Mastercard during this window, you'll earn the following:
- Dining: 6 points per $1 (regularly 3 points per $1).
- Travel: 4 points per $1 (regularly 2 points per $1).
- All other spend, excluding rent: 2 points per $1 (regularly 1 point per $1).
You can earn up to 10,000 bonus points during this promotion. Cardholders who pay their rent during this time will continue to earn the standard 1 point per $1 spent.

United Airlines Premier status challenge
Between Oct. 27 and Nov. 1, Bilt members can enroll in a complimentary United Airlines Premier status challenge. Your Premier status challenge will depend on your Bilt status tier:
- Bilt Blue tier members (open to the general public): Premier Silver.
- Bilt Silver, Gold and Platinum tier members: Premier Gold.
As a reminder, Bilt Silver, Gold and Platinum require 25,000, 50,000 and 100,000 total points to qualify each year, respectively. You can earn these points when you pay rent with Bilt or use your Bilt Mastercard.
Your Premier status will be valid for 120 days. To extend your status through Jan. 31, 2024, you'll need to earn the following:
- Premier Silver: 1,000 Premier qualifying points (PQP) and 4 Premier qualifying flights (PQF).
- Premier Gold: 2,000 PQP and 6 PQF.

SoulCycle Rent Day, Ride Together
Bilt and SoulCycle have partnered to host a "Rent day, ride together" class on the first day of each month at over 50 SoulCycle locations nationwide. This will allow members to receive a complimentary bike for a friend.
Special themed classes can be reserved directly through the Bilt Rewards or Soulcycle app, or by going to Soul-Cycle.com.

New referral program
Lastly, Bilt launched its updated referral program earlier this month.
You can earn 2,500 Bilt Points for every new cardmember you refer after they've been approved for the Bilt Mastercard. You will also earn a 10,000-point bonus for every five members you refer.
Cardmembers can earn up to 2,025,000 points from card referrals.

Bottom line
Bilt is going all in for rent day. Nov. 1 is the main rent day, and the festivities launch tomorrow in the Bilt Rewards app with the United status challenge.
As a reminder, Bilt Rewards points can be transferred at a 1:1 ratio to some of the most desirable points currencies, including World of Hyatt, Turkish Airlines Miles & Smiles and Air Canada Aeroplan.
