Every other year, manufacturers, journalists and aviation industry enthusiasts meet at the Paris Air Show — this year's event kicks off next week at Le Bourget Airport, and, thanks to some phenomenal business-class fares, we'll be there to check out the exhibits and flying displays toward the end of the week. For many attendees, that latter activity is certainly the highlight — sure, it's exciting to see military aircraft take to the skies to perform advanced maneuvers at Le Bourget, but there's no greater thrill than seeing a jetliner fly vertically or complete turns at extreme angles directly above thousands of aviation fans.

Of course, with competition heating up between Airbus and Boeing in the small wide-body space, it's no surprise to see Boeing pushing the envelope with its Dreamliner. This year's contestant appears to be sporting Vietnam Airlines' livery, and if the above Boeing rehearsal is any indication, we're in for quite a show.
