Happy Halloween! For customers with The Platinum Card from American Express or a Centurion card passing through Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) on October 31, it's a very happy day indeed — as of 5:00am this morning, the latest Amex Centurion Lounge has finally opened its doors to cardmembers and their guests.
The new lounge is located on the second level at PHL's Terminal A-West, near gate A14 — it's at the far end of the airport complex, but you can make your way there from other terminals without leaving security, assuming you have time to kill and don't mind a bit of a walk. TPG and I had a chance to check out the lounge earlier this month — personally, I'd even trek over from Terminal E to visit.
With this latest opening, Amex's full lounge lineup includes:
- Dallas (DFW)
- Hong Kong (HKG)
- Houston (IAH)
- Las Vegas (LAS)
- Miami (MIA)
- New York (LGA)
- Philadelphia (PHL)
- San Francisco (SFO)
- Seattle (SEA)
Note that access to Amex's Centurion Lounges is now limited to cardmembers with a Centurion Card, The Platinum Card from American Express or The Business Platinum Card from American Express OPEN. Eligible cardmembers will be able to bring two guests and purchase $50 day passes for additional guests.
