Citi is a TPG advertising partner

Offer expired February 28, 2011.

Citi has been running some hearty AA bonuses this year, offering up to 100,000 AA miles. While the 100k offer is no longer, they do have a generous 75,000 mile sign-up bonus that only requires $4,000 in spend in the first 6 months.

Highlights: Low spend threshold, no annual fee ($75-85) for the first year, flexibility of Visa or American Express

This is a great starter card for someone who wants to get into the points game. 75k AA points are substantial and can be used on one-way awards- even on partners.
