Last fall the British Airways Visa card offered $50 off a dine at any New York City Michelin starred restaurant (except Peter Luger Steakhouse which does not accept credit cards). You could do it twice, for a total of $100 in rebates - not bad if you were going to dine out at a participating restaurant.

They just re-launched the promotion with similar terms:

"Use your British Airways Visa® Card at any NYC MICHELIN Guide 2012 star-rated restaurant today through July 31, 2012. Dine once and receive a $50 statement credit. Dine twice and receive another $50 statement credit for a total of $100. Minimum purchase of $50 each time you dine.*

Call the restaurant, go online or use our dining consultants at 1.877.572.1887 to make your reservations.

Say what you want about Avios, but the British Airways Visa Signature Card is a pretty good credit card, with perks like the companion award ticket when you spend $30,000 per calendar year and 1 point per dollar base earning. The standard sign-up bonus is 50,000 but if you don't have the card, I'd personally wait and hope for them to run the 100,000 point sign-up bonus like they did in fall 2009 and spring 2011.
